A few weeks ago I was contacted by the company Firmoo. They are an eyewear online optical store with a variety of choices. I picked out this pair because I love a round frame. They even have a virtual try on system so you can get an idea of how the glasses will look like on you! Through their new program you can get your first pair of eyewear for free by clicking here.

Meeting Aimee Song of Song of Style

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

I had the opportunity to meet one of my favorite bloggers last weekend...Aimee Song! A few friends and I decided to stop by the 7 for All Mankind event in Santa Monica. Aimee was super sweet. She has the type of personality that makes you want to be best friends with her instantly! The jeans were also amazing. I am that much more excited for autumn now.

Speaking of changes you may notice I look a little different. I cut off half of my hair! To be specific I donated it to Pantene Beautiful Lengths to make wigs for cancer patients. I have been wanting to do this for almost 3 years and decided that now was the perfect time.

A stray from my usual outfit of the day posts to present a glimpse of my super casual countryside adventure to Oregon. I had the best time. Thank you to all of those for the well wishes on my vacation!

I love clothes that have a story, which is also one of the many reasons I adore thrift and vintage stores. The pieces I wore today have quiet some history behind their structure. The jeans I am wearing were my mom's brother's when he was in elementary school. She accurately sensed that she would have a daughter that would rock these bad boys when they were revived years later.

red morning light

aug 2 edit B aug 2 edit C

Early summer morning light pours through my favorite window and exposes my most sought after activity to pass time. Glossy pages and riveting editorials act the same way movies or music may, with intention to get lost in another world. The bookshelf in my room is poorly named. Rather than books I store a portion of my personal magazine archive dating back to 2005.
