Shabby Apple + Interview with The Social Boutique

I was contacted by Shabby Apple over the weekend and I decided I wanted to share their online store with my lovely followers. Anyone who knows me is aware that I have a love for the 1920's. I admire their fashion, history, writers, artists, practically every aspect of what I have learned about that time. Shabby Apple has an entire feature on dresses inspired by the 1920's! I loved their pieces and I figured you must too!

I also did a little interview with my friend Morgan from The Social Boutique over the weekend. She is a super sweet girl and I loved answering her questions. Click here to read it!

sick days = reliving my childhood

I could not tell you the last time I took a sick day. Back in high school and middle school if I was sick I would go to school anyway because I was so OCD about missing out. Fortunately or unfortunately, I now have a pretty chill schedule consisting of two days of class per week. I am currently stuck inside on a beautiful day so I decided to pull out some boxes out from under my bed and rummage through a few key pieces of my beloved childhood.

A few of you were curious when I mentioned that I changed my major in a post a few days ago. Entering college, I was a Communications major. After deciding it was not going to allow me to accomplish some of my goals, I changed to Sociology about a month ago. As I learned more about sociology and the aspects of the major I concluded that it did not suite me. As the little Goldilocks that I am, I tried out a third major and decided that English is just right for me. I am super excited to see what opportunities my new major has in store for me!

What is your major? Or what was your major? Or what do you want to major in??? I would love to know!

The weather is having more fluctuation than a roller coaster. I was perfectly content with the warm tempertures that graced Southern California last week. Why must we return to this awkward overcast?

I decided today was perfect to debut one of the pieces I purchased at the LF sale a few weeks ago. As I tried it on in the dressing room I pictured myself wearing this on a breezy summer night frolicking between adventures with my crew. I was attracted to the ethnic print and lack of arm holes that makes this piece unique. I have also developed a liking for hoods, functional and soothing.

In my last post I joked about how my legs were ombre. So I decided to use some self tanner while I waited until I had time to catch some natural rays. Now my legs are reverse ombre!!! Hopefully everything will get evened out this weekend! We got some rad summer weather rolling into SoCal.

Today was a pretty epic day. I had multiple epiphanies about my life and my views. I have decided to change my major! I am really excited to see where my new path will take me.

In case you have not heard... I am high-key obsessed with Instagram...which apparently is now owned by Facebook for $1 billion!!! Oh, what I would do with a billion dollars. Anywho....here are some Instagram pictures from my first few days of spring break. I've been really into DIY's the past few days.

Also, I hit 300 followers! That's so crazy. You all are amazing. I never thought 300 people would be interested in what I have to say.
